Gardening

This is my second project in academic writing. After doing a news-making academic writing, now I pick theme-based academic writing. That theme is all about reality, as well as academic writing is a writing based on reality. I wrote in with a partner. We took "Benefits of Gardening" as our theme. Here is our writing.

Gardening

         Gardening can be done around the world. We can do it anytime if the climate and temperature fit the plant. Gardening means reproducing and taking care of plants. Gardening has a lot of benefits. The example is to increase plant amount. If we have more plants, our food chain will be more balanced.

        One of the benefit is to make our environment greener. By growing some plants, we can increase oxygen in the air. If oxygen increases, the temperature will decrease. It will decrease the effect of global warming as well. Plants will complete our ecosystem and make it balanced. Besides, plants can color our environment. They can color our earth by their leaves, flowers, fruits, and even stems.

       Another benefit of gardening is pumps our sweat out, especially when we plough and walk around our garden. If we sweat, we are burning our fat into energy, so it can reduce obesity and make us healthy. From gardening, we can also get some experiences and knowledge about biology. We can learn how plants grow and reproduce, naturally or by help of other organisms. 

      Gardening may give us extra money. We can sell the fruits, flowers, leaves, and stems of our plants. As long as they give benefits to other people, it must give us extra money if we sell it. The money we got can be useful for our daily life. It can also be useful for people around us that have economical problems.

     Gardening has a lot of benefits. The benefits are useful for the environment, people around us, and also the people around us. However, gardening is an easy thing to do. So, why don't we do it for our earth and descendant? If the earth is comfortable and green, it must be useful for our descendant next time.
