Arguments On News

Academic writing is a kind of writing that talks about reality. One of those reality is about comments and arguments on news. In my country, Indonesia, one of the "hottest" news is about new parliament building. That plan brings a lot of pro and contra from the people, but must of them are contras and critics
Here is my argument on it...

Arguments on New Parliament Building

       Last week, I read a newspaper that talks about the new Indonesian Parliament Building (DPR). A lot of contra happen to that plan. However, the fact is the old one is not necessary anymore, especially for the payload. All of the critic talks about Indonesian economy right now. The cost almost 1,9 trillion rupiahs.
      Marzuki Alie is one of the orator of this plan. On the other hand, a lot of critics attack him. Finally, he negotiated with the contractor and get 1,2 trillion. He also stated that all parties have been agreed with this specification. However, Gerindra party never feel that they agreed. All people also accused that Marzuki is the main person of this excessive dismissal. Marzuki felt guilty and finally shut up about this for some days.
      All problems have solutions to solve it. I have some suggestions on this problem. I think, we should let Marzuki be cool first then interrogate him personally about this plan. After the problems with Marzuki done, the senators should have a special meeting that talks about a new building and do a deliberation. If they didn't get a best solution for this problem, do private senators voting. Then, consult the result to the president and his subordinate, in order to get better solution. The final is do everything by that result. But, I think that better we make a special election about new building. Ok, that all my arguments about new building, I hope it will help reducing chaos and restless demonstration.

Two Truths and One Lie

I ever write three short stories together with my friends. Two of them are truths and one of them is lie. We have guessed, from all of their stories, which one is a lie. Although it is very improve our writing abilities, it was a fun game to guess which one is the lie.          My first story is...
         When I was a kindergarten student, I had an accident. That time, I would like to cross a street in front of my school. I ran quickly that street and a motorcycle hit me. I spun (just for around 100 degrees)and fell down. I got my knee injured but finally I was OK.

   My second story is...
       When it was a first time for my parents come to Jakarta, I suffered a bad diarrhea. That time, my parents miss their medicine box. Luckily, our house is very near with a hospital. However, my parents won't bring me to that hospital. Finally, my parents just pray and I was healed, without any medicine.

     My third story is...
       I ever be a swimming athlete in my complex. I practices hard for around 2 years in my local swimming pool. When I was strong enough to join a competition, I joined it. I got third place in a district competition. I gas happy enough, although I was not allowed to come to region competition.
