Metaphor

Metaphor means compare something with anything else. I gave some examples in my previous posts. Usually, people made a metaphor as what they think about some topics, such as friends, family, school, book, etc. Metaphors always look funny if you take the dictionary meanings, it will not funny if you take other meanings. A group of metaphors can be made into a poem. Here are examples of single metaphor and a poem made from a group of metaphors. We can found metaphors in songs, stories, etc

Single Metaphor
Friends is food coloring in cake mixture.
Food colorings will make everything more interesting and perfect. In my perspective, friends are alike them. Friends will make our life more interesting and more perfect than before.

 They will help us solving problem, even a difficult and complicated one.
Friends are packets of yeast.
They can influence us to develop and become better.
Friends are Quick Respond Rescuers.
They will help us immediately, even when our family aren’t around

My Autobiography

My name is Yosafat Hans. I was born at March 21, on the capital city of Central Java, Semarang, Indonesia. My parents are Handojo and Indriyati Agustine. I lived on Jakarta since I was 3 weeks old. But, at the age of 6, my father moved back to our hometown, Semarang. I stayed there for three years, and then lived in Jakarta until now.

I am a student in Santa Laurensia School grade 7. My favorite color is yellow and orange. My favorite food is salmon steak and my favorite beverage is coffee. My dream car is Volkswagen Caravelle. My hobby is playing badminton and listening music. Here are some my personal metaphors
